302 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel that has 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Its chemical composition relies heavily on reasonable alloy design to achieve a series of excellent properties.

302 stainless steel pipe has excellent plasticity and toughness and works for various processing techniques, including cold working, so it can be manufactured in different shapes. And 302 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, especially in oxidizing acids, atmosphere, steam and water. However, 302 stainless steel does not suit intergranular corrosion environments, so it is not recommended for environments with risks of intergranular corrosion. The chemical composition and performance characteristics of 302 stainless steel make it an ideal material for a variety of applications, including the manufacture of structural parts, weldments, non-magnetic components and cryogenic device components.
